So I was hanging out in a tim hortons with a guy Friend, I started talking to a girl I knew from College (she was there at the same time as me by coincidence) and then her 2 friends joined. She had a cute friend and another unhealthy obese one. When quitting I asked the girl if we could trade numbers and talk again later, she accepted, the other cute girl said ok too to my friend even though he didn't ask her and she gave my friend her number saying we could maybe all hangout some day.


The connexion felt real and we seemed to agree there was maybe something there, both me and the girl I knew, and the friend and the 2nd girl. The 3rd girl was gonna do the same (give us her number) before we were leaving but I said don't bother, she kept insisting and was arguing with us making a fool of herself.

My friend then said you're a fatass whale that keeps eating timbits (she had like a box of 20) thats why we dont want your number and I started laughing my butt off, his comment was really unexpected and funny. Well she had her purse in her hand and she hit the guy in the face pretty hard with it and was gonna keep doing it. I said whats wrong with you, shoved her off him because I knew he would punch her or injure her, well the girl I knew from school didn't like me shoving her and she grabbed me by the shirt and before I could do anything she kneed me in the balls 2 hard times.

I fell down in the coffeeshop and felt so bad and then the fat girl said with a high voice: Your 2 timbits have been crushed how does that feel and then they quickly left while my friend was helping me up. It was really embarassing and a female worker who saw the whole thing said: Hopefully you're alright, do you need some new timbits? And laughed again. I left with my friend but I dont know if I can sue her considering I pushed her, even if I did push her for her own good. Would girls really hurt a man for making fun of a fat girl?

Both you and your friend are actual dick heads, let me get this straight first. You both blew your chances with the women you were interested in just to be asses. I admit I'm not that interested in bigger women myself, but this is not how you deal with the situation of someone you're not interested in being pushy.

(Controversial) You both have every right to not be attracted to someone, and that includes their weight. BUT you should not then shame that person for it.

That's where y'all crossed the line. I'm not saying any of them had a right to hit you or your friend, but I'm not surprised in any of their responses.

Now real talk, we weren't there so we don't know how this really unfolded. This situation is tough, but at the end of the day, you just gotta be stern and honest and tell the person you aren't interested in them and don't want their number. They should want the number of someone who wants theirs too. You could've used the situation as leverage to show commitment to the girl you're interested in by saying "I'm only interested in getting to know her rn".

Could this still have ruined your chances? Possibly, but no one would've been verbally or physically assaulted because you said no.

I hope this is a learning lesson to you both, don't be such assholes.

I just laughed to his joke, it was just funny. Then I pushed her because I knew otherwise my friend would hurt her? Why did I deserve this, maybe if he was kicked in the balls, but why me?

Your right, you both probably deserved to get your spuds mashed. The girl should have taken a hint that you didn't want her number, I'm not sure what she was thinking there, but you two took it way further than it needed to go so you paid the price
