The "dumper" regrets and the "dumpee" moves on?

Ladies, how many times have you ever dumped a guy and eventually ended up regretting it. No matter how bad something he did was, or what your fights were about, you remember the times he treated you great and thought maybe the break up wasn't worth it? Is this especially true with the "dumpee" moves on into a new relationship with all the perks you used to have? How long did it take to regret? Did you ever go back?

I dumped my ex because I had to. He was a pure narcissist, a controlling manipulative posessive person. I don't regret being with him at all.

So to answer your question, if he wasn't that bad most probably I'd be thinking of him a lot and ask a lot of "what ifs" questions. "What if he isn't that bad?" "What if we stayed a little longer?" etc..but if he was too bad and abusive like my ex..he is completely erased from my memory.

I'm going through something like this right now, actually. I really miss him, and yeah, I regret it every day, but I'm pretty sure it's what's best for me in the long run.
