Literally every girl and situation is different. I've been in similar situations with two separate girls... every single one of my guys friends and even their girl friends were saying each girl were giving me definite signs that she was interested in more than being just friends. Went for it and both times got shot down.

One's excuse was because she didn't date Asian guys (even though she was Asian herself) and the other one just wanted to remain friends. I distanced myself from both of them and we lost touch fairly quickly. After that, girls need to be very deliberate with me for me to "get the hint."

At the end of the day, there's really only one way to find out if she's just toying with you and likes just having you around as an emotional support dog... or she's actually into you. I say muster up the courage and just ask her out... just be mentally prepared for the rejection. It's better to go in with that in the back of your mind, instead of being assured that it's a home run. Chicks can be conniving bastards (not that guys can't be the same... just in different ways).

Within 3 hours of me smelling her socks. She brought up my shirt sweat stinking from our workout. I teased her about mentioning my sweat, after she asked me to smell her socks. She got defensive when I suggested she had a foot fe*ish and I said. She admitted to it and said Don't worry, feet are alright.
