Why do women say they want a manly man then complain if his fingernails are a little dirty?

I've heard girls say both of these things in the same a conversation like they want a guy that’s good with his hands but then if he doesn’t have them perfectly clean like a gay man’s nails it’s a huge turn off, wtf? 😂

Uhhh, it’s usually a hygiene thing, nothing to do with manly men. It’s basic hygiene to wash your hands… Including under the nails because that has bacteria.


Listen, nothing wrong with dirt under the nails in general, but I expect the dude to wash his hands. ESPECIALLY if things are getting sexual, because dirt under the nails and fingering can cause a massive UTI for us.


My boyfriend is a manly man, he washes his hands, but he always seems to have dirt or oil or something on his hands and nails. My husband's nails are always dirty, but the guys keep a nail clipper at the shop. He rebuilds a transmission w/o gloves. He does stuff on the house and in the yard, only uses gloves for the concrete and sometimes when he's laying grass and seeds. He still sticks those fingers between my legs. This is a bit of an uneducated question really.

First off why would a gay guys nails be cleaner than a straight guys.

One of the mechanics I use is gay, his hands are often oil stained, cut and his finger nails cut short, when I see him at work his hands are far dirtier than mine, a straight guy working in an office.

The big reason people do things like shock out hands, clothing etc, is for hygiene tells.

if a guy (or girl) has dirty hands, food marks on top etc, then it’s a hygiene issue and brings into question the rest of their body,

if a guy can’t keep his hands clean, can he keep his cock clean or is it 🤢

Also girls do not want manky fingers in them, great way to get an infection.
