Why is it an insult to most women if you refuse to ever marry her?

Most women find it very hurtful and insulting if we love them as a girlfriend but don't propose. Or if we were to do a proposal prank, forget it... that's like the end of the world for her; she's in tears, devastated, her ego is shattered to pieces. That's the reaction they always had even in the 40's. Rarely would a woman sign up to be your forever girlfriend.

While I'm not totally against it and would propose if that's what she wants but she better be someone worth it all. Things aren't like the good old days anymore. But honestly, why do most women react like that if we deny them that?

Most women get angry if you love them as a girlfriend but she's not good enough to be changed into your wife. I haven't heard of any girl in my area being happy about getting denied that.

Personally, I wouldn’t see as an insult. Marriage is just a piece of paper to me. If you love someone, you love them, being married or not.

Exactly but many women tend to react badly if we just want them as a girlfriend but not marry them.

Yeah, I met some women who desire to get married someday and see it as a goal, but personally, I don’t really care. I mean it would be nice if I get married, but if I don’t it’s also okay. As I said, it’s just a piece of paper to me 😅
