There is a girl at my workplace that acts nervous around. Doesn't look me in the eye when I talk to her. Looks down when she walks past me. She only smiles and waves at me when I Greet her. I have observed how she greets other males and females. She doesn't smile or wave. She only does it to me and sometimes we have a lingering eye contact when we greet each other. I asked her out on facebook. She didn't reply for 8 hours lthough she saw it and she sent me a message that she just started seeing someone. She still does the same after rejecting me. She smiles and waves only to me and look down when she walks by me Why she rejected me? Is it nervousness?

Does she like me? Easter is coming so Should I wish her happy Easter and see if this will start a conversation flowing?

If she started a new relation, then you should not try to pursue this one-sided relation.

I suggest that you just greet her normally and don't try to initiate eye contact to avoid any kind of misunderstanding or confusion. You don't want to put her in an awkward situation by attempting to lock eyes with her.

She is probably shy and that is why she looks down when passing.

Of course you can wish her happy Easter but don't attempt to go into a lengthy conversation but just the casual greeting and small talk. Don't attempt to get her to go on a date since she is taken. That would not be fair to her and her new relation.
