Tbh, with a 2 year pandemic, not getting out much and finding girls on Tinder looking for one nights, My intentions is to meet girls in person for serious purposes. Try to be a little flirty but respectful and see where it goes. I understand girls will assume every guy is hitting on her for sex. But I want something serious with casual dating, if I don’t at least try I’ll regret it. Even if I get rejected at least I can say I tried. I’m not going to be bitter about it. I feel like the days of guys courting girls for genuine purposes is non-existent. Seems like guys and girls just want flings, friends w/benefits or other weird ish. That’s not my cup tea.

Soo yea figured to give my two cents. I’ve never approached girls in person for this reason. I know this comment may garner zero responses or negative responses but again I have to try. If I took everything to heart I would never save money, go to grad school and work my butt after people told me I couldn’t or shouldn’t

there are the types of people looking for flings and there are types like you that look for something serious and are more conservative. There are also those that dont know what they want or those that take it casual but actually want something serious. So, all is normal and it all depends on what kind of person you bump into. Now there is nothing wrong with respectfully approaching a girl, but it happening also depends on if she finds you attractive or not, which can be very subjective as well, so depends on the girl. Thats why its best if she gives you any signs or she seems nice and approachable or just you are very attracted to her so its worth the risk.

I think I’m decent looking and in shape. I don’t want to say I’m hot stuff with a cocky persona. I there are girls who like tall guys, buff guys, skinny guys, weird guys, serious guys, etc. i tend to stay away from girls in their early 20s, those girls usually want fun and flings.
