Girls, Why she keep smiling at me?

Ages ago I started noticing a girl at the gym. She never really looked back at me and pretended not to see me checking her out.

But then I started noticing she would steal glances at me. One of my friends is a personal trainer at this gym. He started giving her free personal training sessions. But when I was around and he was trying to explain things to her. She kept starting at me. He then started to become very weird with me and stop talking to me. I found out he liked her and got jealous because she kept looking at me whilst with him.

One time I was worming out near her, he walked in to give her a free personal training session. He looked annoyed we was bear each other. I fell out with me because of her but I never spoke to her. Then I saw her in a store and she walked passed me and smiled to me. I smiled back.

But then he started being off with me, he fancied her. He would never say hi anymore. He was talking to her on the parking lot when I left the gym and again she was looking and he seemed bothered by it. I think she sensed a triangle going on and she avoided smiling at me for months. But out of nowhere she keeps staring at me again and tried to smile. I was uncomfortable and shy and looked to the ground then she kept looking at me. Why all of sudden she stop smiling at me and now she started again seemed like she was going out of her way to avoid interaction with me

Personally I don’t think ya should assume she was ignoring your glances purposefully sense she likely could’ve just not seem em’ or have been uncomfy with being looked at that way. I and many others smile at peeps constantly regardless of if I know em’ or where I am. Especially when I’m in a room with one person, if someone else walks in I tend to smile at em’ whenever we make eye contact or I think they might be looking at me. She may of just been trying to be polite in that situation dude so it’s unfortunate how your old friend acted off-kilter ‘bout it. Regardless of if she likes you or not it’s incredibly wrong of your friend to start avoidin’ you just because someone who strikes his interest smiled at ya and is polite. If I ventured a guess as to why she would be smilin’ at ya again after her hiatus from it. It would probably be because she realized it was kinnda silly to ignore someone being polite because her trainer was being funky about her smiling around ya, if she knew you weren’t dangerous. That or a more extreme option would be that she fully understood that the reason her trainer was actin’ odd with ya was because he had a misguided impression that you smilin’ at her was a bad thing. So, after noticing that she started going back to her usual friendly smiles! Sorry you lost a friend over this situation though dude, if it helps any, anybody that tosses a friend like a used wrapper with a dead bug in it because someone they are into -smiled- at the person they had an interest in likely wouldn’t be a good fella to keep around.
