I had this long history with a coworker. I knew there was something. She expressed many times that she cared about me. Usually after I was upset. She would console me about some rude customer and be like “I care about you”. We had issues though. She was in charge at work but she wasn’t my boss. We would tease each other a lot too. I called her annoying once and she said she was gonna come over to my house late at night and annoy me and sing me to sleep. She’s touched my shoulder and she’s given me a bear hug.
Earlier on when she came to the job she used to ask me how I was doing a lot. Once she came up next to me and asked how I was doing snd if everything was feeling ok. Once she even asked why I wasn’t talking to her. I think she was jealous of my relationship. I do have a boyfriend.
I used to text him at work a lot and before our weird spark grew I think she didn’t mind it. Although slowly I started to see it bother her. I used to call him at work which I agree was inappropriate but she used to get me in trouble a lot for it. Once it was late and the store was closed and I clocked out. Her and I didn’t talk much that night and I got on the phone with my boyfriend as we were heading out. I told him “I love you too” over the phone and she told me to hangup. I called him back when we were going out the door and she told me to hang up until we were completely out the store. I also saw her glare at me while talking to another female coworker and pull her away.
She’s left the job and I think she’s changed. She used to be focused on her job and kind of the “mom” person and super mature. She even wanted to come back to the job after leaving and would leave notes. It’s been a few months and I heard from a coworker that’s friends with her that she made out and might’ve slept with this guy from the bar. I’m confused because that’s probably not her first Mary go round. If she might’ve been hooking up with random guys why would she act so jealous with my boyfriend or anyone?
