Today I was talking to another co-worker and she was answering my questions for me and involving herself in the conversation as if she was involved.
Why is the doing this?
I don't know if I would call her jealous, at least in this situation. It does sound like she was trying to interject herself and be part of the conversation though, which I know some people do because they hate being left out even when that’s not the case. Like if you are the person she interacts with the most at work, she probably feels like it’s ok to butt into your conversations and include herself, which at most can be annoying.
She’s doing it a lot recently. I’ve seen her get annoyed and roll her eyes and if I’m far she’ll stare and watch if close she’ll intervene. She goes all weird on me.
If she’s doing all that then yeah, I can see how it comes off as jealous. If this is a newer development then I’d assume things aren’t going well in her relationship for whatever reason. I don't know how your work dynamic is with her, but if you give her a lot of attention then I’m sure she likes it, especially if she doesn’t feel like she’s getting that at home. But that isn’t your problem and you shouldn’t have to feel weird on her account. Maybe it would be good to set boundaries so she can stop being overbearing.

She is showing her interest to you and unfortuatly some married ones are not loyal.
She has a "thing" for you.
