Hi everyone, my boyfriend and i have been together for 3 years. I don’t know why I get jealous of my boyfriend liking other girls bikini pictures on instagram? I ask him to stop and he said he would but when i go check he is still doing it. When i ask him why he said if he doesn't like pictures i still ask him and if he does i still ask him so he might as well like. then says that there’s so much more important things to worry about than i like. i ask him why he does it, what is he looking for? is he liking them because he thinks they are hot? is it because he wants to piss me off? is he wanting to get their attention? what? he says that it’s just a like it means nothing because i am the one he wants. 🤨 to me it sounds like he could cheat on me and it wouldn’t mean anything because im the one he wants. I don't know. i could have deep rotted insecurities or he's just straight up an asshole. I don't know, what do you guys think it could be?

What you’re basically trying to do is make peace with a situation that deep down you know is inappropriate and disrespectful when really you should be kicking someone like that to the curb. Im not sure how you don’t see how big of an issue it is that he disregards your boundaries and has no desire to give you peace of mind. In fact it’s as if he has so little regard for your peace of mind that rather than stop liking all these dirty pics of women, he gaslights you into feeling like you’re being ridiculous when you are not. This is what you can see with your plain eye, but who knows what happens with the shit you can’t see. You’re not with him 24/7, so for all you know he really could be cheating since he has proven time and time again that he has a wandering eye. Now I’m sure you love him and wanna fight for your relationship since it’s been 3 years, but that doesn’t mean it’s your sign to waste 3 more living like this. You’re so much better off on your own at this point.
