So this happened when I talked to this girl at the gym, What is the reason behind this?

My Physical stature/looks : 6’3 tall, tattoos, lean weightlifter.

So I’ve been seeing this girl stare at me at the gym for a few days so I finally went up to talk to her and just brought up a random topic like school/university since we were the same age. The conversation seemed to go really well and she even gave me her Instagram when I asked for it (she didn’t even follow me back). Before I ended the convo, I asked if she was down to work out sometime and she says “maybe…I’ll think about it”. I was so thrown off at that point because she was giving me looks the past few days that I’ve seen her. Can anyone answer this cuz it feels like a rejection?

I would say it’s rejection. If a person is sure they will say yes, not “maybe” who knows what the case may be but people look at other people at the gym for many kinds of reasons being. Maybe she’s talking to someone already but thinks you are attractive. Who knows the actual answer, but I would take her actions as rejection for now.

I would take it as a rejection cause of the maybe part on the girl.
