Why do I get the ick once I sense that a guy actually cares about me, any girls relate?

I hate this about myself but i can't help it. As soon as a guy starts to care he suddenly becomes unattractive to me. And thats when i ghost. I dont know what to do about it because i do want to find love but its impossible when this happens every time.
