What do I interpret this scenario?

Me and my friend have an argument, then we curse at eachother, then we part ways, it's different we meet again at a later date, but my ex defending the one who hurt me cause I had to retaliate for my friend bullying and haressing me? What kind of woman is this ex? I mean is it wrong of me to defend myself when my friend hurts me? This bitch takes their sides and hurts or belittles me? WTF i am little confused in this about my ex's behaviour?
