Reached out a few times after meeting up once, they couldn't make it. Once they stated they wished I'd have told them beforehand. The next time I reached out, they checked it but didn't reply.

I think it's because they want to be told well beforehand but at this point I'm wondering if you know, let it be.

Definitely not. You’ve reached out more than enough. Please know your own value and do not overly pursue someone who does not appreciate you. After multiple attempts at communication with someone, it’s time to stop if they have not replied. Their failure to respond, is a reply of its own. Go ahead and move on. You deserve better.

I don't think they don't appreciate me, I think we got along great the first time we met and after that it seems there's been some miscommunication of some sort.

Well, as long as you feel OK about it. That’s all that really matters. You seem to have a few doubts though, so you may want to give it a day or so and see if he reaches out to you. do they show genuine interest in you? if not it’s best to let it go.
Some people also may have busy lives and likes planning. when a sudden plan springs up on them they may not like it
