Would you re-connect with someone who flirted with you but left for another person?

There are a number of guys who flirted with me, but then gone with other ladies. There wouldn't be a problem at all if they just left forever.

I don't want to feel like a spare part.

Maybe together with their boyfriend. I'm down to have good times. When I was a bachelor, maybe they could hook me up with a woman who suited me well.

I never minded the spare part/third wheel feeling, or a way to say is that I never got it.

Because if I'm a restaurant with a couple who is talking to each other more than me, I'm gonna sit at the bar anyway and make friends with some people and invite them to our table. And now I got more people to talk to.

I'm that type. I don't feel that awkward hanging out with a couple on my own because if they start making out in front of me, I'm not gonna just sit around feeling awkward sipping my drink and order more really fast.

I'm gonna get out of the chair and start talking to other people. Hang out at the bar. See what's going on there. Maybe there's a pretty girl sitting by herself. I'll talk to her and invite her back to our table.

Now I'm not the third wheel anymore. I got my own girl. And the couple finishes making out and I'm like, "Hey, this is [insert her name]. She was hanging out at the bar!" Couple: "Nice to meet you!" Now we're rolling.

Good. I won't be hanging there as either. Well, I don't go to bars. But if that kind of situation happens, it would just turn to a friend nearby because I don't approach men first.

Why not? How about twirl into them with a dance like, "Whoopsie!" I kind of did that in my own way sometimes when I was single. All life should be fun. Everyone makes it so serious. Trust this, loyalty that, feel like this and that, I'm happy to to be invited. And I'll make my own fun anywhere, any time, if my company fails to do that! 😁🙏

Unfortunately, just because someone flirts with you doesn't mean they want to date you :( Or they were playing games until the person (s) they wanted were available.

Oof, that's a tough one. It depends. If it stung a lot at the time and they never gave a good explanation, I'd probably steer clear. But if it was a casual thing and time has passed, maybe! If they reach out with a genuine apology and seem to have their act together now, it could be worth a friendly chat to see if there's a spark. Just remember, you deserve someone who chooses you first!
