Why do girls become more approachable and friendly when a guy is shy?

I have noticed that a lot. I dont talk that much because im awkward around girls.

a few of the girls i never talked to noticed that i get nervous and shy and talk to me first and ask me why I’m shy and stuff, why im nervous etc.

why is that?

Honestly I think it’s cute sometimes, we’re often used to the very cocky arrogant guy. When I see a more shy humble looking guy I think that very attractive. Like obviously if you still can take the lead and be more reserved a lot of girls will like that.

Just be aware, a lot of guys do not like being called "cute." Here are some more acceptable terms: Dashing, handsome, (possibly) beautiful, adorable. But cute may not be as accepting to men. Not all men, but a lot.
