How to deal with a girl who feels she is entitled to my attention?

Anonymous

I asked this girl out and she played hard to get by saying she will be busy. I don’t like playing games so I moved on. I was at least friendly to her at first, but she has been mad at me, presumably due to the retraction of my attention. She has tried to ignore me, giving me cold shoulder, smashing the door when I’m right next to it, giving me “you are a dead man” stare, having passive aggressive sigh when I’m around.

I tried to have a conversation with her and she said all these are just misunderstanding, then she proceeded to keep doing it.

I’m getting uncomfortable so I’ve been avoiding her. This made her entitlement grows even more. She is starting to act like the entire shared space is hers. So now I’m completely ignoring her, not even saying hello. It has turned into a power struggle like testing who is going to break under this pressure.

Does she just feel entitled to my attention, or she feels like she owns me now after asking her out for once? I was indeed friendly to her right after her rejection, it’s not my fault that I have to ignore her. Any suggestions on how to deal with it?
