Coworker making me hate my job?

Every morning when I come in doing my work she’s giving me some angry stare. She usually doesn’t talk to me but talks to the other people we work with. The only time she talks to me as if I make a mistake or I misplace something. Usually these “mistakes” have nothing to do with her. I could be the last person using the broom and she’ll be like “you were the last person to use the broom put it back because WE need it.” Or “where’s the broom? ____ was looking for it this morning and we couldn’t find it. We need it so put it back where it goes.” Im the only person who sweeps and she doesn’t have proof that I was the one that misplaced it. She never confronts anyone else and laughs it off if someone else has an issue with a person. If someone had a small issue with me she’ll be all in my face confronting me about. She’s really close to the manager and our manager is the reason he is the manager. He’s around my age and I noticed when no one is around, he hype me up telling me how I’m too good for the job I’m working at. But he still enjoys working with her.

We mostly work with men and rarely girls ever stay there but when we do hire a girl she sucks up to them and is all friendly with them. Her and I are the longest girls. We had hired a girl and she brought her a Gatorade because of her “good work.” I got partnered with her to do a a project and she didn’t want to work with me and that she could do it herself. Most times she just gives me the stank face while I’m working and when I catch her she’ll try to change the subject and say something nice. She now dropped herself to part time and is only there on certain days. On days I have to work with her, even if it’s for one day, I dread coming into work and have called off and left early several times. She thinks it’s because I find the job too stressful but it’s really because of HER. Advice?

She's a bully.

I also detect a hint of jealousy on her part too, she doesn't like the fact the Manager likes you.

I would suggest the next time she approaches you like this, you can politely say, "I would really appreciate if you don't speak to me so rudely, as I find this offensive". Call her out as the bully she is if she continues. But you also then have to speak to your Manager about this, as all of this is not healthy for you.

Don't sit back and suffer. Don't let the bully win.

As your manager is approachable, find a time when she's not around to let him know that you and the other girl have difficulties working together and although you're trying to make it work, you encourage him to be aware of the problem and not push the two of you together. Other than that, don't take any further action and you'd appreciate his discretion in this matter.

You'll need to decide for yourself if he can be trusted.

Stop being so sensitive and work through her. You should not let her do this to you. This is on you.

If she's causing problems that are interfering with your ability to work efficiently, than talk to management.
