Cringy-sweet, overall I'd like it but it is a little weird. But well meaning weird compliments happen, I think guys try to be original. Like I was compared with a statue once, it was supposed to be a compliment but it made me think I'm cold and stiff? Then there are deliberately cringy "joke" compliments which can make you roll your eyes or make you laugh depending on mood and how clever it is. Advice for guys, if in doubt say this, "you have the most beautiful smile" it is always appreciated (of course this assumes you have at least met in person or seen a picture where she is smiling).

Anything meant as a compliment should be received kindly and positive! I don't find it cringe. However there might be more romantic words. But it's clearly meant in a nice way!

It absolutely isn't, but that's perfectly fine, because the fact you don't like something is a sufficient reason to not do that thing. Your negative feeling about something is a reason all on it's own not to do it.

The term "creature" (in nearly any context) is not widely understood to be a dehumanizing or derogatory term. It is not a universally understood that calling someone a "creature of habit" would be dehumanizing them. The fact you interpreted the term creature in that way is fine, but respectfully, no, it's really not that deep.
