Doesn't matter. That's the whole thing with friend's with benefits. You... don't get to wonder about stuff like that. He can do whatever he wants with regards to other women... you might as well stop yourself right here. Your thinking and wondering about this... implies you're going beyond a friends with benefits thing. If you're friends with benefits you shouldn't care. At all. Not even a bit. You probably should either date this guy or stop sleeping with him if him having women's things at his place bothers you. Because if it does... you're kidding yourself if you think you're fine being friends with benefits.
Do you care whether the male friends you don't have sex with... have women's shampoo in THEIR showers? No you don't.
This shouldn't be any different. He is just your friend. Even though you're sleeping with him. It's important you understand that. Or you're gonna get hurt (like so many women do trying friends with benefits when that's not really what they want)
helped a lot ty
Honestly... I'm really glad. I've seen this situation play-out SO MANY times. I'm glad this is making sense to you. Best of luck 🙂
I wouldn't be upset or jealous because there is no committed relationship. If I started caring about that then that would be the time to break it off, or ask about getting more serious.
Alright, so it's common or normal however to see another's partner's stuff over there?
I mean, does it mean anything he has other women's stuff in his home? Like he is doing something more serious with other/s? I dont mean by forgetting your shampoo there, for example. Just willingly letting a few of yours things there.
Well, I could see being concerned about being the other woman, if that's what you're saying? I wouldn't want to be in that situation. Maybe talk about it lightly with him if it seems he may have a more serious relationship going on.
He has actually said to me he sees other girls. I dont know, i do have some jealousy issues but it seemed kind of weird seeing other women's things in his home. Its most likely my jealous alert going on, he is a person who's emotionally unavailable. I mean yes, if he sees a woman often and she has her shampoo there then i know that she washes her hair every after sex. -shrugs- but still has me wondering.
I would just be careful so you don't get hurt in any way. Sounds to me like this guy isn't ready to settle down with anyone. And I may be wrong but it seems like you may like him a little more than the average friend with benefits relationship.
Yeah i like him a bit more than that but it's fine. My main curiousity its if is common for a girl leaving things in her friends with benefits's home? lol, its my only friends with benefits i have but im curious. We dont see each other often, not even every month.
I would think he has different levels of "relations" with other girls, some are closer (or one only is), some aren't. Or maybe he has actually a girlfriend and cheats on her. I think a girl you hookup with (only) wouldn't see the reason to "settle" her things in his bathroom, that means they meet very often or anyway she knows she is gonna use her things again soon, not wasting them in the house of a random unknown person.
In any case you are not the "main woman", you are the second, third, or even last, and you are treating him like your main man probably instead, and that can only disrupt your self respect if you continue. Seriously consider to quit because you don't want the same things and you are hooked on hopes rather than on facts, that is dangerous.
@quaranta this helped a lot, thank you
Friends with benefits means he usually has a girlfriend.
