It's too late now, because it's already been done. He does this while I am sound asleep.
I feel like I'm living in someone else's apartment now. 😟
I only lived with two girlfriends. The first one and I rented a house together but she didn't go through my shit or hide my stuff.
The other one was renting a house but I kept my apartment. I just brought clothes and necessities to her place and lived with her for over a year. I could still go to my apartment where I had all my stuff. I didn't rearrange any of her stuff.
My wife is the one who moves my stuff. She has a tendency to use things and not put them back where she got them. I hate that. LOL
@Lliam
Doesn't that just drive you to insanity?
He takes a can of soda and pops it open and leaves the empty cans in the sink all day. The trash can is less than 4 ft. from the sink, but he can't make the trip to throw them away. I swear they are going to have to put me in therapy over this, because this happens EVERY SINGLE DAY AND HE DOESN'T CARE!!!
You are still lucky you salvaged some of your stuff so you know where it's at. I don't know where any of my stuff is. I kept telling him to keep his grubby little hands off my stuff out I was going to destroy his stuff or throw it away.
GRRRR 🤬
I'm with you! It's totally fucked up that he moved your important stuff without telling you.
My attitude is, "DON'T TOUCH MY STUFF!"
I need things to be where they belong or I can't find them. My wife is random and just puts things down anywhere when she is done using them. I can't even wrap my mind around that behavior.
But because of my complaining over the years, she has gotten better.
That soda can is a perfect example. What the actual F!!!
And why would my wife set kitchen knives down on the counter right in front of the knife block instead of putting them IN the knife block? It set scissors or fingernail clippers on her side of the bathroom counter instead of in the top drawer where she got them that is literally right there? No extra time or motion would be involved.
Why not put tools back where they belong so that you know where to find them the next time you need them?
😵💫🤬
@Lliam
Please tell your wife for me that she must put the kitchen knives in their property place. Otherwise, guess what? We just won't have kitchen knives anymore for you because you cannot seem to notice the knife block where they live. You can get some really cheap knives for you, but the nice one's are mine from now on.
I feel your pain. I do. Finding my own shite is like an Easter egg hunt with fewer bunnies sometimes.

That’s weird, did you ask him why he did that? Seems like he was looking for something and was to lazy to put it back
@Likes2drive
It us too weird for me. He wasn't looking for anything, just snooping around to see what things I have.
He has ADHD so that might explain some of it.
He leaves the place messy, then starts to clean late at night when I am asleep and it wakes me up.
I have tried talking to him, but he overrules me. 😢
Seems like he can’t sleep from that disorder. Not sure if you want to see a counselor, he shouldn’t overrule you in your own place
@Likes2drive
I would give him the boot if I was a lot younger. But we both have medical conditions and he takes great care of me that way. And he needs a safe place to live. He is a Vet from the Navy and did 10 years.
He just found out he has diabetes Type 2 and I am more than happy to give him a safe place to live. He deserves it. 🇺🇸
I guess you still need to put your foot down with certain things so you guys can live with less stress
Ok, that would push me over the edge. I get frustrated when I can't find a serving utensil that was put in the wrong drawer! 😂
What were the ground rules you put down for your place? Ultimately you have veto power if you are paying for it.
Nope!! Not without her permission!! It's HER place!! SHE gets say over what happens there!!
Okay mommy. Tell your son to leave your stuff alone and to clean up after himself! Your roof. Your house rules!
Speak up and telling you you are sick and tired of him living this way and if he doesn't change you want him out
Do you have a boyfriend at your age? Is it possible?
Yes, it's very possible for me to have a boyfriend at my age. After all I don't have one foot in the grave and the other foot kicking the dirt in. At least not yet.
Plus people are living longer now than years ago.
There are people in their 90's and 100's now, so I might seem young compared to them.
Good for you
That’s not unfair that just sounds mean
Lol no unless she's messy
