Agree or Disagree? Women seek attention because they want sex?

So yesterday one of my buddies and I were talking about how our generation of today has no love in their hearts and how people don't really want each other, they just want sex but women especially want attention. He said women want attention and once they get attention they want sex. I disagreed and said women want attention because once they get attention they have control and enjoy that.

He didn't agree with me either and felt that getting attention makes them want sex, but I told him lots of women want attention but have no desire for sex, they just want a dude to glorify her so her ego feels good and once a guy is simping for her she already knows she has control, and she can get him to do whatever she wants while she has sex with someone else who isn't even glorifying her like the simp is.

What do you guys think? Agree or disagree?

I think you are right. I don't think women are that obsessed with sex. They do it because they can whenever they want (though depending on certain circumstances not every woman can just have all the sex they want). But I feel like a good majority can have sex when they want. Also yeah women have sexual desires they are human too. But I don't think they're that obsessed with it.

We value having more attention than sex. I have no experience when it comes to sex but I've always heard about women having a hard time orgasming. So if a lot of women have a hard time reaching an orgasm then they probably won't enjoy sex that much.

It would be about the guy. If she wants to make it about her then she'd want her ego to be fed by attention. In my mind, I'm thinking these women sound really immature. No offense just that I would never treat a guy like that. If I like him, he'll know and if I don't, he'll know lol.

I wouldn't treat a guy disrespectfully and then sleep with a different guy, wtf? What kind of world do we live in, it's crazy.

Something you didn't consider usually when we are getting our egos fed, we get as much of it as we can, we get bored and then we leave. At least for me I wouldn't even waste my time sleeping with another guy when I can just get attention 24/7 without needing to lift a finger. Why sleep with some other guy?

That's a immature mentality though. I wouldn't treat a guy like that. If I was 14 I would probably do that. That's not who I am though. I don't see the point in living my life like that. I feel bad for you men though, you have to deal with some messed up stuff.

Well, a lot of women enjoy that you have so many guys out there thinking women can get laid whenever they want, and they like that guys are troubled about not being able to get sex or a date. This in itself kinda ties in with my point about getting attention equaling control for women: when they're being worshipped they know they can have some kind of sway over a lot of guys. And the more attention a woman gets the more she can manipulate.

When your thinking with your dick it means your letting the sex and the feelings from it cloud your judgement to the reality that a girl might be using you. I disagree, people in general seek attention because they crave validation. Now its debate if women do it more than men do. I think men do it more with specific individuals that they want validation from, mom/dad, girlfriend/wife or so on... where women tend to be broader about it and want in general via social media or from people at large.

I do not think there is a direct correlation between craving attention and sex... men tend to want sex as a means of validation more than women do... women just want attention straight across the board in a variety of ways and means, in which sex is only one of the many means.

Disagree. Women seek attention because they want validation and the feeling of acknowledgment, being accepted, heard and loved. They don't do it for sex per se. For women, a lot of their focus is emotional and mental stimulation. They thrive on that... and drama.

Why do you think women make it a point to have different types of guys in their circle that they ID as "Friends" and then the "Lovers"? They go to the friend to get the validation and to be heard, then when that has been done and they feel better they go to their lover for the sex.

When seeking attention, at least in my experience, it's for validation rather than for control or for sex. I have very little interest in hunting for casual sex, but I won't deny there's a part of me that's incredibly thrilled whenever I get complimented by someone for one reason or another. It validates my decisions, it tells me I'm doing something right because I've gained someone's approval. It makes me feel better to feel wanted, but that doesn't mean I want to fuck everyone who compliments me, nor does it mean I want to keep control over the other person. I just want to feel like I'm accepted, so getting attention for how I dress, or what I write, or how I do my job and receiving compliments for it makes me feel that acceptance and validation.
