There have been 3 different shows, usually comedians, that she was planning to see over the course of 2 or 3 months. She bought 2 tickets to these shows at various venues in different cities, and since we went on our date (s), she's been selling the tickets off last minute. Now mind you, this is a woman who has portrayed herself to me as single. A single woman buying sets of 2 tickets.
She's not a scalper, because she's selling the tickets at a major discount.
I guess I'm just wondering if this chick went on our dates and decided to scrap her other relationship over me... Am I reading too much into this? Is this normal feminine behavior?

If anything i’d assume she's not interested in you because she's selling them instead of taking you as her second
That makes sense. There’s actually a great reason that she wouldn’t take me to the shows; we’re long distance at the moment.

Ohhh yeah; I'm suspicious as all get-out. msc floated the idea that she's stealing the tickets. This woman is an employed engineer, so it's not like she should need the money, but people's behavior never surprises me anymore.
The first place my mind went was that she was in a relationship when she went on the dates with me and has ended/is in the process of ending things with the other man. If that's true, talk about a major red flag.
Ask her. Something is wrong here - perhaps the tickets are stolen.
These tickets are being sold at a pretty steep discount... I hope she's not stealing them, but nothing surprises me anymore.

Yeah dude. These tickets normally go for $200, she's selling them for $70 per. Now, to be fair, these are last minute prices, so they will be higher, but I can't imagine the price she paid was much lower than $180 per.
If she paid at all. Also, the tickets might be counterfeit...
If she is a software engineer she might be able to make counterfeit ones or knows someone who can. That different cities thing makes it even more suspicious.

I cannot fathom why someone would be selling tickets at a loss. I wouldn't bother.
Exactly. The way I see it, she either doesn't know the value of what she has because the tickets were gifts she recieved, bought the tickets herself and just has horribly flaky girlfriends, or she's being spiteful.
I'm trying not to read too much into things, but it's like... I don't know why else she would bother?

For real. I've already knocked this woman out of the running as a potential spouse. Unless something about how she acts changes (I'm not holding my breath), there's just too much about her that doesn't sit right with me.
Honestly if it were me in your position I would stop seeing this woman altogether. It's just too much about her that doesn't make any sense according to you and there's no reason to keep seeing somebody that's basically been lying to you and maybe doing illegal things
