How do I stop chasing women?

So…. I’ve got a simp behavior but I’m not a full blown simp.

I don’t give money to random girls, and put her on a pedestal in hopes she’ll discover I’m right for her.

I don’t tolerate disrespect.

I don’t agree with her for her to just like me.

I don’t adopt her interests to impress her.

I don’t watch as she gets boyfriend after boyfriend hoping one day it’ll be me.

I got boundaries that will not change.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a cold asshole but I just don’t do all that shit.

But what I DO DO. Is I give way entirely too much attention to a girl I’m interested in. I always text back instantly, and I’ve double texted quite a few times. Then I get mad at myself, because it’s pathetic in all honesty, and comes off desperate.

I don't know, I just get too excited to talk to the girl I like or something.

You just have to remember to take it easy sometimes.
