How are you supposed to trust women today when women give so little?

Pretty straight forward question. Most guys will know what I'm talking about. I don't think women realize (maybe they just don't care) that 90% of a guys effort is wasted with women. Decent men don't go into a relationship with the thought of failure. But the majority of women only entertain the guy until something better comes along (in her mind). So a guy knows he'll be working hard trying to build something only for her to just end it seemingly out of the blue because she finally met what she really wanted. And then he's back to square 1. Understandably, after a while the guy doesn't want to to start over anymore so he is unwilling to put forth only the effort she is. Which we all know women are unwilling to do as a rule.

Are you talking about actual women you have met? I find that women can build up a lasting attachment to a man. Once this bond has been formed, they will not easily move on to anybody else, even if the other guy is hot and available.

Not disagreeing with you there. Unfortunately these women don't tell you they're not good women up front. Quite the opposite. And as a guy you have to make all the effort. Because women don't do that. So it's like marching to your own demise.

So any better tips you have for guys deeper than just, "choose better women". Like maybe how to identify the difference? My problem for example is telling the difference between women who've been done wrong that need just a good man to pick her up and dust her off vs. The one that use that wounded bird routine as a trap. I've fallen for that so many times that when a woman starts telling me her problems I see the trap being laid and I run away now. Because we as guys want to help. And women know that.

I truly think people need to get to know someone anywhere from 1-3 months before getting physical. People's true colors often show within the first 3 days, 3 weeks or 3 months. They need to earn your trust but during this time, you can talk to solely that person or several at once because it is the “getting to know you/talking” stage. You’re not getting physical with anyone. You’re seeing whose personality/mindset suits you. Find the one who carries themselves the way you’d want your woman to carry themselves

I agree. Problem is most women assume you don't like them if you make them wait 3 months. If that's your solution I will make that a rule for now on and see if that changes things.
