Why do some women sometimes reply to things and other times just ❤️ a text and it ends there?

I sent a message to a girl and she replied the next day apologizing for the late response and we talked for a little bit, and I asked a few questions while replying with other things and she hearted the comment. It was about how she had a bad time at an important event of hers, and I replied with a message saying that I was sorry that she had a bad time and told her when I was going to Italy and told her that she could contact me anytime as my hours were cut at my job. What is the meaning when some girls do this?

In my view is just a way of letting the person know that they have read and acknowledged what was said. Rather than simply reading it and doing absolutely nothing, in that case it looks like ghosting behavior.

To put it simply it’s just letting you know that she read and understood what you wrote.
