Girls, Why does this type of text always make woman lag reply to me?

I know this is gonna sound weird but I noticed something… whenever I text a girl and she says “how are you?” If I just say “I’m good and yourself?” They reply quickly and respectfully.

Today a girl texted me “how are you” but this time I replied “im good sweetheart, just had pizza n salad, im stuffed. Hbu?”

than she lag replies, is there something im missing? I’m tired of being bland / boring over text I try to just be myself and friendly but I get cold treatment. Every time im short / not really showing a mood I get more respectful behavior.

id appreciate a woman’s opinion on this, chime me in if im doing something to throw her off? I’m sick of being myself and getting treated this way, no wonder 63% of men are willingly single, count me into that statistics soon, these dating games irritate me.

The pet name “sweetheart” probably made her uncomfortable and not want to reply straight away. I know it would make me uncomfortable, since usually when men use that pet name, it’s in a degrading or belittling way. And it can be hard to know someone’s tone of voice over text.

Yeah, I think you’re right about tone. Seems like people misconstrue peoples intentions via text / vs real life you can tell someone’s attitude. Ty for the opinion makes sense

For me I think what you say was fine, at least you’re engaging in a conversation and making it interesting. Maybe she just didn’t have nothing interesting to say back. I wish someone will message me like that haha.
