How common is it for a girl to spike her guy's drink?

There are many stories of guys spiking the drink of their girl so that she will sleep with him.

Do girls behave in a similar manner? Or a girl can simply sleep with the guy by inviting him to her apartment? Girls can be devious without appearing to be so.

I mean... word got out that tequila would make me sleep with pretty much anyone. So many times when I was drunk at parties, girls I rejected or wasn't interested in would bring/buy me tequila and I would wake up in their bed... kinda awesome.

Tbh, this doesn't even compare to what guys do, it's sickening.

Yes this does happen. In fact my friend has spiked a guys drink previously, but she didn’t do it to get him to have sex with her, she did it because he cheated on my other friend so she did for revenge.

It's not that common, but it's not unheard of. But it's rare that women spike drinks with the goal of having sex, because women don't need to spike men's drinks to get them to have sex with her. Instead, women spike men's drinks to rob them, kidnap them, make them sick (because they're mad at him), or things like that.

This isn't easily answered. The internet gives conflicting data on this. Rough estimates say it's about half as many men then women. So yes, it happens frequently to men. BUT, who spiked it? It is assumed when a woman gets her drink spiked it was by a man. This ISN'T necessarily true. And it's just as likely that a man's drink was spiked by another man.

So I guess what I'm saying is the data. Says it happens more to women 2 to 1. But which gender is doing it specifically is a bit harder to determine.

Can women take advantage of men? Absolutely.
How common is it? I don't know. I feel like it's less common than the other way around.
But that might just be something to embolden the few that do. Because once you think no one will suspect you, it gives you an opportunity to find him in a vulnerable spot.
I've never really been the target of much besides like one night where I didn't consent, but it happened anyway. That's just one time, though.

For sex? Probably close to never. To rob him, much more common, especially in some places in the world. For sexual purposes it is probably much more likely a guy would be drugged by another guy than by a girl; a man in a drugged state is a pretty useless sex partner unless he's on the receiving end.

There is however some crazy girls out there that might really obsessed over a guy and do anything to have sex with him. Ever seen the movie Obsessed with Beyoncé and Ali Larter.
