Ladies, your days of unabashedly betraying your significant others, the real baby daddy, and the child; may soon be ending. This bill also allows for CRIMINAL penalties š.
693 opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. I can see upsides.
Of course, husbands could find out if their wives got knocked up by someone else.
Couples could accidentally find out that they are siblings.
It might be discovered that a child's mother or father are also their sister or brother.
And I imagine a lot of brothers, step brothers, uncles, cousins, fathers and step fathers would get busted for rape or statutory rape.
But I can also see possible downsides around the idea of ever increasing government intrusion into personal privacy and bodily autonomy. Maybe they will eventually put a microchip birth certificates to prove that the person is government property.
I looked the bill up to see the language and intent.
All I found was Tennessee HB 2689. "As introduced, authorizes a āParents' Day Outā or similar program operated by a religious institution or organization to provide 12-hour per week child care services in whatever block of time desired; requires the department of human services to create a $10 million fund to provide unlicensed care providers in rural counties with assistance in making facility upgrades for licensure; allows care providers in rural counties to provide child care for up to 10 children without being licensed if certain conditions are met. - Amends TCA Title 49 and Title 71."20 Reply

SHOULD be mandatory everywhere imho, years ago I knew a guy whose ex claimed paternity, he had had a vasectomy many years before, she claimed to be on the pill,,,

+1 yTN 2689 died in the summer of 2022.
DO try to keep up with the times.
And it wasn't mandatory it essentially meant that any UNMARRIED man was allowed to have a paternity test despite objection from the mother before he'd put his name on a birth certificate. It was essentially meant to protect men from having to pay child support to cheap easy sex sluts they fucked if the child wasn't theirs.
.
HB 253 ā SB 331 - which replaced TN 2689 - means that someone will be jailed when a person fraudulently seeks to establish themselves as the biological parent of a child or the legal parent of a child based on status as a biological parent when the person knows or reasonably should know that they are not a biological parent of the child

Go for it! Trying to tangle a man in to being a father of a child that isnāt his is wrong! I wouldnāt hesitate if the father of my children wanted a paternity test, in fact I have heard from others that heās questioned if our daughter is really his and that infuriated me but heās never discussed it with me but I would have no problem proving to him he is in fact her father! Itās disgusting that as a single mother of three that I have to make a point that they all have the same father, Iām sick of women who make the rest of us look bad. +1 yWell, the state is proactively taking action that these moron men should already be doing.
That test is there. Even if you trust your girl and you have no reason to suspect anything... you still get the test just to be sure.
TRUST BUT VERIFY.
Why any man would let their name be legally placed on a birth certificate and he'd take on the legal, financial responsibility to pay for a kid for 18 years and to intentionally pass up a test to verify he is dad is beyond me.
I know a bunch of butt hurt women and butt hurt men will chime in and start babbling about how they trust this and that and how dare a man question her sainthood.
GET OUT of your personal examples and beliefs and trust. Think big picture.
About 25-30% of paternity tests show the husband IS NOT the father. So these cases are real, and blind trust is a foolish thing to do.
Just get the test. If you are dad and you already knew that and didn't doubt it at all GREAT! But, those that are not dad and who have been duped need to know so they can get the hell out of there and she can go after her affair partner for child support.
11 Reply- +1 y
Just knowing the test would be mandatory would be enough to keep some women straight or at least have them force their side pieces to wear a condom.
should have been done a long time ago in the hospital shortly after the child is born. if people know who they are sleeping with or slept with should be no issue or uproar about it- personal accountability. other states should but lord knows there will somehow someway be people protesting this even 🤦āāļø
40 ReplyThis is a response to falling marriage and birth rates causing men to partially or fully check out of the economy. It is only in the west that women are free to have children with whomsoever they choose irrespective if he's capable of financially supporting the child because they know the state is going to step in as daddy and pay for rearing that child. However, as the economy is not doing so well, and more and more men are going the RedPill way mandatory DNA testing and elimination of permanent alimony are being considered.

@Juxapose Actually women only make up 33 percent of state legislature, which mean 67 percent are men. https://www. ncsl. org/womens-legislative-network/women-in-state-legislatures-for-2023
Also at the federal level as of March of 2023, women made up 28.7 percent of the house of representatives. en.wikipedia.org/.../Women_in_the_United_States_House_of_Representatives
There are also currently 25 women as U. S. senators which is 25 percent of the U. S. senate.
So as of 2023 the law makers of state and federal government are still predominantly men. - +1 y
@whirled_up_girl those men are simps.

Yes, both political parties are dominated by misandrists. Who gets sent to war against their will? Not women right? Who gets favored in custody cases? Who gets violently assaulted more? Who gets more prison time? Etc.
Western society as a whole is very accommodating towards women and very harsh towards men. Sorry if you have trouble accepting that reality. - +1 y
@Juxapose Do you know that homicide is the leading cause of death form pregnant women with the perpetrator usually being the woman's partner. As for assault 1 in 4 women are sexually assaulted as adults compared to 1 in 18 men (1 in 6 children as sexually assaulted or abused). The percentage of females murdered by an intimate partner is 5 times higher than it is in males. Women are six times more likely to end up separated or divorced than a man if they get cancer or multiple sclerosis than a man with the same diagnosis.
Both genders can claim privilege in different categories when you look at all the categories and some things are going to worse for one gender than the other. I can't die by getting forced to go to war just like you can't get pregnant and suffer the complications that can result in pregnancy. Those are also facts just like the facts you posted. What I posted doesn't make the ones you posted any less true and the yours don't make the ones I posted any less true. Where does is it get either of us though, this back and forth. Life can suck for a lot of people and some of the violence and discrimination is gender specific but why not work together to fix the problems rather than complaining on who has it worse.
+1 yThis makes me proud to be a Tennesseean. I had a cousin commit suicide because He could not see "his" kid. The woman milked him for child support for 5 years. He tried to keep up, but he was laid off work and fell behind, which caused him to lose rights to visitation until he caught up.
He suspected the kid was not his, but still loved him anyways. The tramp admitted he was not the father, but never came clean because she enjoyed the support Michael gave her. I would still have my older cousin, who was more like an older brother to me, had she not been so greedy and had been honest!

In ancient Rome, roughly two thousand years ago, some law students made up a legal principle as a joke: "A father is never certain". The real principle in family law was: "The mother is always certain". This was funny only because there was some truth in it then already, and now still. It's not a new issue.
4.3K opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. Very good law. Paternity fraud puts some men on the hook for children that aren't theirs. This can get very expensive beyond child support payments, including paying for an attorney.
In some places, a single mom who applies for welfare is required to name the father of her child in order to get benefits. Of course, she has no incentive to get it right and the state doesn't care which man it collects money from that it forwards to the mother.

Anonymous(25-29)+1 yHonestly, I hope they wait to see how it works out before anyone follows.
Tennessee is one of the states with the highest incest incidence rates, and abortion is basically not an option. If an abuser knows that what they did will be revealed by a paternity test if the victim gives birth, and what they did would also have to be revealed in order for the victim to be possibly able to get an abortion... well there's not a lot of options left for the abuser to take to keep themselves from being found out...
I'm just saying, I hope other states pay attention to any shifting crime statistics from Tennessee in the next few years.
The idea of mandatory paternity testing may sound nice at first, but like most other mandatory tests or personal information submissions to the government, there can be serious consequences for people who are already in a tough situation.

i also wish that someone would propose a bill that if there is a false accusation of rape that the false accuser would be responsible for all the falsely accused legal bills and compensation for lost wages and go to prison for the same amount of time that the falsely accused would have.

@Apple1996 ššš. Someone has a secret...

Not putting the father's name on a birth certificate is abusive as hell. When children grow up they want to know who their father is. I was adopted as a child and it was easy to find out who my birth mother was but she neglected to put my father's name on the birth certificate and wouldn't tell me who he was. As an adult, I went through several years of hell searching for him via DNA and finally found him after he had died. This was not fair to him and not fair to me. It caused me a great deal of distress. I had a right to know who my father was my whole life and I didn't get that from my mother who should have provided it and didn't. Don't do this to your children.
- +1 y
@msc545 eh I went through something similar. Didn't get DNA tested till I was 6. Literally made no difference since my dad was gonna care for me even If I wasn't his bio daughter. What you mean?
Why are government officials trying to get their nose in people's personal intimate relationships?
What's next, government wants to know by force what couples are having oral sex, what their favorite position is?
How many times are they having sex a week or not having sex at all?
I told you once, people's intimate relationship matters should be between them only, no one else.
The government of Tennessee could have simply have funds available and make it free to have a paternity test done to those who ask for it but to force paternity test against someone's desire is wrong.
- +1 y
paternity tests currently can be denied by the mother even if the father wants it
and even if the father asks for one, there's always going to be the "issue" or him being untrusting and insecure
by making paternity tests mandatory it ensures no father can be accused of insecurity of untrusting and mother's who have something to hide will no longer be able to hide it - +1 y
@inhua: I seriously doubt paternity test can be denied if a father has suspicion regarding his child.
I think that's pure bs you are saying.
If the government has such power to enter into intimate and personal matters of your own bedroom with this forced bs paternity test then it sets a precedent for them to seriously start over reaching with other matters regarding your home and family matters and how you raise your kids etc.
Kraken was against government mandate to inject people with ish they don't know nor understand with Covid-19 and objected and criticize Gen Z for had no problem with government having cameras within your home to prevent domestic violence but now he doesn't have a problem with government forcing themselves into people's personal intimate lives regarding children?
This guy is inconsistent in his judgments and all over the place.
This problem can easily be solved if the government making funds freely available to the suspicious fathers who request a paternity test, and not force bs into people's personal relationships. - +1 y
paternity tests can be denied. that's the whole point of making it mandatory in the first place
wanting to know who the biological father of a child is of less intrusion than everything else you've mentioned. the father's name goes on the birth certificate anyway so why not put the real father's name on it.
so the government knows a wife had sex with her husband due to DNA testing? is that suppose to be a huge revelation to them?
as far as the government telling you how to raise your kids, the moment you send them to school, you've already forfeited your right to raise them the way you want them to be raised. you can teach your kids to think this way and the schools will teach them to think the other way - +1 y
- +1 y
this isn't about the law denying the father, you completely misunderstand
it's the mother denying the father because DNA testing requires consent from both parents. even if the mother has "nothing to hide" she could accuse him of insecurity and not trusting her if he asked for a DNA test
regardless of the outcome whether the test results comes out positive or negative, the relationship will never be the same again - +1 y
@inhua: Again, show me where the law states DNA test to determine if the potential father of a child is his requires the consent of both parents? Or you are just making ish up to fit your narrative?
The state of Tennessee or rather a national law should be upon the birth of a child the presume father can sign a waiver to have his DNA tested along with the child if he key word "chooses" too.
See how easy is that instead of forcing someone against their will? - +1 y
you are deliberately being obtuse here. a mother is already the known parent of a child. a father isn't the parent until he signs the birth certificate so he doesn't get access to the child or make decisions for the child like getting a DNA sample from them unless the mother says so
sure you can refuse to sign the birth certificate until a DNA test is performed because you want to but what do you think the optics would be like if you didn't. do you not trust your wife then? are you insecure?
until you sign the birth certificate, you don't get any rights to your child
www.oflaherty-law.com/.../what-happens-if-the-fathers-name-is-not-on-the-birth-certificate - +1 y
@inhua: If married then the man has automatic full legal rights of that child by law if not then he doesn't have the those rights is what the article says.
The unwed man can wait to 2 to 3 weeks to sign the birth certificate til the DNA results come back if he feels some woman he was messing with got pregnant by another man.
And why do you care about optics? No one has to know what's going on except the man and woman in that relationship.
It's none of your nor anybody business. - +1 y
for a married man, should his kid not be his, he is still obligated to pay child support for that kid all because the mother cheated and he has to clean up her mess
for the unmarried man, he is not the father until the birth certificate is signed and until then the mother can deny doctors getting a DNA sample from her child and therefore no DNA test can be conducted
a mandatory DNA test fixes the problems for the unmarried man. it can also fix problems for the married man assuming the real father can be tracked down
you might not care about optics but the optics are what will prevent you from having your DNA test being conducted. the whole point of the mandatory DNA test is for the man and the woman in that relationship and more specifically the child
yes you and I might not care whether or not Anakin is the father of Luke or not but Anakin sure as hell does care whether he's the father of Luke or not and a deceitful mother will get in the way of him knowing this
- +1 y
@inhua: For your 1st point, no. If that woman cheated then the husband should not be obligated to take care of another's child.
For the unmarried man it's logical and reasonable a woman he is messing with is probably also having sex with another man as that lifestyle of fornication people tend to sleep around.
In that case if that woman accuses him of being the father then the father should have a right by law to have that child DNA tested, if the woman doesn't accuse him of being the father then by law he shouldn't have access to that child or a paternity test. - +1 y
I agree a man shouldn't have to pay child support for a kid that's not his but that's rather idealistic because men are still required to pay child support for kids that aren't there's
here's an example of a man who had to pay child support for a non-biological kid
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UH9fnRnEcr0
[ In that case if that woman accuses him of being the father then the father should have a right by law to have that child DNA tested, if the woman doesn't accuse him of being the father then by law he shouldn't have access to that child or a paternity test. ]
a mandatory paternity test would fix all of this you've described ^ - +1 y
@inhua: Again, it's invasion of privacy and intimate matters.
A woman could be having sex with a dude for two weeks and then have sex with another guy 3 weeks later and got pregnant by him and she longer talks to 1st guy for whatever reason and hates him etc that dude should have no right back into that woman's life if she doesn't want him there.
Let people solve their own intimate problems on their own.
Having government dig deep into bedroom problems isn't a good idea at all as I pervious explained. - +1 y
the scenario you described is only making a case for mandatory DNA testing. how are any of the guys suppose to know if they are the father or not? the mother could deny them both a DNA test. what if there's a 3rd guy involved? this is the sort of messy stuff that can be fixed by a mandatory DNA test
this isn't just about the man and the woman. it's about the kid too and the kid deserves to know who the his/her father is. the government is not going to know who and how many guys a woman has slept with, only who the real father of a child is which is no different than regular signing of birth certificates except this time, there is accuracy involved - +1 y
@inhua: That's their own problem for living that lifestyle and for them to fix it on their own without government involvement.
The government doesn't need more power than what it has especially in people's personal lives.
It always starts as noble then as time progresses government will want cameras in your own backyard or sanction you for having anal sex with your wife or some bs they don't like or approve of. - +1 y
so the kid has to suffer because of this? is that their problem too?
this goes beyond just knowing who their father is. kids can inherit chronic diseases and illnesses from their blood related parents (including the biological father). sometimes a blood sample is required from a parent to find a specific cure. if the biological father isn't present, this could be disastrous for the kid
the government has no interest in the people having anal sex or who they have sex with - +1 y
@inhua: That's their problem to fix as I said and cases where the mother doesn't know who is the actual father of the kid is very small anyways.
The immense majority of time the man knows he is real biological dad of that child unless he was messing around with a super slut and one night stand type of thing.
As for having anal sex or engaging in sodomy it was actually illegal here in the U. S. and not until a few years ago I think it was done away with as some states prohibited it.
My point is don't give government too power lest you end up like China where they control or try control even how hard you breathe. - +1 y
I understand your sentiment when it comes to certain things like having cameras inside of homes but what could the government possibly have use for knowing who slept with who? the government has no use for that information. only the family involved
most men don't know for certain they are the father, they largely assume they are the father due to their trust in their wives but trust can and has been broken. a man with a wife who has been messing around can not know for certain he is the father. this is not something as simple as a white couple giving birth to a black baby where the evidence of cheating would be obvious. some cases of cheating can be easily hidden
one of the reasons why abortion is so heavily protected by feminists is to stop cheating women from being exposed. preventing DNA testing from being mandatory also mitigates cheating women from being exposed. no man wants to believe his wife/girlfriend cheated on him but does happen to some men and they shouldn't have to pay the price for her selfishness - +1 y
@Hispanic-Cool-Guy. The government entering out intimate lives happened decades ago when women brought the government into marriage. I do oppose having mandatory injections of unproven substances into our bodies, but a simple cheek swab is fundamentally unharmful. Men need the law to start working for them.
- +1 y
@Hispanic-Cool-Guy. There is more at stake. There are three victims to this crime 1) the man wrongfully paying for a child that isn't his, 2) the actual father who doesn't have rights to his biological child, and 3) the child his/herself as she is defrauded into believing the wrong man is her father.
There is no logical argument against this.
