How to interrupt a woman without pissing her off?

Question

Most women I know love to talk. They'll spend several minutes telling you something, and then get upset when you don't say anything, or often complain that you're not listening. To put it simply, I've forgotten what I wanted to say but she doesn't like it when I interrupt her. Or, she's said something totally wrong, but by the time she finishes her story, she is convinced that what she said is 100% correct.

So, girls, please help us guys. I know I am not alone. How can we interrupt you without getting you pissed off at us?

Guys, feel free to explain how you deal with this.

A great way to distract a woman... walk up to her, lean in, and kiss her. Or lean into her and trail a fingertip across her collarbone and down across her nipple or around her nipple. It is a very fast way to distract us and make our brains stutter to a stop.

However, using this method could honestly backfire on you both because by the time you are done, neither one of you will probably remember what you were talking about before.

This method only works if the woman is your girlfriend or your wife because if you try to use this method on a woman you work with or is a stranger you are at the least probably going to be slapped and at the most, you'll be arrested for sexual assault.

Sorry I got annoyed reading 😂 "I forgot what I wanted to say" I pictured you interrupting me and then saying you forgot why you did that.

I can't speak for everyone. Only for myself and people I am friends with. Either as soon as there is a pause somebody else will immediately fill in. Group setting. When it's one on one one goes "Can I say something?" "I disagree." "Well.." Little signals and the other will listen.

If people don't want to listen to each other I won't want to talk to you.

This situation depends on the lady 😊. My wife gets interrupted a lot (by me). She calls me out on it every time. She is used to it after 20 years.
If you ask her a question, and you don't want a long, winded answer, perhaps rephrase the question. If she is starting the conversation, try to hang on to your thoughts, as they come, and politely remind her that you have a point to make and perhaps she will allow a gap for you to respond during the conversation :-). sometimes I will raise my hand as a child does in school.

Maybe it's better to let her finish and then tell her that you forgot what you wanted to say. maybe she will apologize and let you interrupt her every now and then

I think I'd straight up tell her (during a calm conversation... Obviously) that I'd like to have more space to voice my opinions during our conversations. She's a very interesting person and, you'd like to participate more so that you could both bound better.

I'd be direct but not an asshole about it either. Also, this could work with someone you know well. If it's a random woman on a first date, take is as a sign that this person just loves to hear themselves talk. Probably your opinion doesn't matter much or, they are very bad at conversations. Anyway, ask yourself if that's something you're willing to deal with long-term, without changing her.
