I get hit on a lot, and I love to have fun with my friends while drinking, so I drink a lot. Anyways, I’m worried about being raped, or a girl desperate enough to be using me without my consent. I blackout sometimes when having fun. And the reason I say this is because I’m going with a group of distant friends that I think won’t look out for me. And my best friend is saying not to go with them because they won’t look out for me. He said they just want me to get super drunk. And a girl has warned me in the past to not go to a certain bar because they’ll spike my drink. Should I worry? I kind of do regardless…
You should worry, rape isn't a male only crime but females do this as well, yes its true that men do it more commonly but men are also ashamed when it happens to them and tend to Bury it instead of talking about it. (Do some research on this if you're curious)
As a guy who also gets a little too much attention. I can say that women won't use sex as a way to get their rocks off (mostly) but to get you to commit to her even if you don't concent. I have had this happen to me. Although she didn't go all the way.
Its not common for this to happen although it's not impossible either. If you go to public bars you're fine, although if you meet them in more private locations some may make a move or slip something in your drink.
(I dont drink myself and its the best advice i could give)
Hope this helped

What's the attraction of going to a random bar with distant friends when risk is involved, I would rather have drinks with best friend in backyard in peace
Rarely do you hear of women raping or roofying, but in any case if you don’t have the restraint to not get plastered or to at least learn your tolerance then you shouldn’t be drinking at all. Yes, friends should watch out for one another but NOT babysit, and for someone who’s mature, it’s super annoying trying to have a fun night but can’t enjoy it because your friend is sloppy drunk.
Yeah men have to worry about their drinks being drugged just as much as women do. I've heard men's mothers warn them to watch their drinks at all times.

If you’re getting blacked out every time you drink maybe it’s time to consider if you’re an alcoholic. Don’t drink around people you’re not safe with.
No, you shouldn't. That never happens.
