If a girl often wants you to help her, what could it be?

There is this girl that I've been liking for a while and I believe she knows I like her as I've been flirting with her and complimenting for some time, even asked her out but we never went on a drink as we were a lot busy at that time.

So, whenever she needs some help that her best friends could easily assist her, she quite often turns to me. From easiest things like searching the web for something or helping her buy a phone, to some harder like helping her "cheat" a test lol.

Before showing her that I like her, these kind of actions from her were rare. And funny thing I noticed recently (maybe a sign or my delusion), she often uses my first name when talking with me. Before, she would say like "hey" or very rarely use my name, but now it's always like "Hey D, help me with X", "Where are you going, D", "D, sit with us" etc. Funny and strange...

Also, she became much closer to me, telling me some more private stuff, always smiling and many more things.

What could this be? Maybe she's using me knowing that I like her? Or testing me to see if I will help her when she needs me? Opinions and suggestions much appreciated!

P. S. Reason I'm asking is because I want to ask her out again, but this time I want to be more positive that she might like me (I don't have intention to chase a girl that doesn't want me haha).

She also may have googled “ways to make a guy like you more” and if you do that one would be triggering a man’s hero instincts (which is asking you for help) and another is using your first name (which is clearly working since you noticed she does that). Clearly what she is doing is working either way, I wouldn’t assume she is using you though unless if you are lending out tons of money to her to get all this accomplished
