Friend annoyed when I get attention. What should I do?

My really close friend is a lovely person. I love her to bits. But sometimes when we go out I get attention from guys and she doesn't seem too happy about it. She isn't b**chy about it and doesn't put me down, she just says "Why didn't they compliment me too? I'm just as pretty as you." Or she looks annoyed and is off with me afterwards.

She does get attention though, usually at different times to me, PLUS she has a boyfriend while I'm single. How do I handle this and make things less awkward between us?

Tell her she has a boyfriend and shouldn't be worried about attention from guys. It's probably an attitude or personality thing. People who are more engaging and less antisocial get more attention

She’s got a boyfriend she needs to quit. She’s going to end up single soon. I’m sure she wouldn’t like her man getting attention from other women.

Yes. Last year he came back from West Africa in the early morning while the parents were asleep and we drank some fresh coffee together. He gave me a small present he brought back with a bow stuck on it, I took the bow off and stuck it on him and told him that this year he was my present. We looked at each other lovingly.
