Try asking if you can have a word with her alone, stepping a reasonable distance from, but not out of sight of, the group before you ask. If she says no at either point, accept it and move on; she's not going to change her mind 99.99% of the time. She doesn't know you. i suppose some guys still would approach even if she is with others but be warned it might annoy the other girls.. i recall last summer i asked this girl if she wanted a drink at the bar and bought her one but she was with a group of girlfriend's and they've been annoyed at me since that i only cared to talk to her and not the rest of them
