What would you do if a female said she's pregnant by your man but he's denying it?

When the child is born, she can file a petition to determine paternity and name him as the putative father. If she applies for Medicaid coverage for the child, the state will probably file a paternity petition on her behalf. He will then be ordered to submit to paternity testing and he won't have any choice in the matter. In the meanwhile, the testing cannot be done until the child is born.

His initial refusal raises a very strong presumption that the results would prove him to be the father. Does he offer any explanation for his refusal?

He doesn’t want to claim the baby because he doesn’t want to pay child support, but what he wants doesn’t matter. He will be ordered to take a DNA test and if it is his child, he will be ordered to pay child support.

There's nothing you can do until the child is born, and then only if she and he will both submit to a paternity test.
