It could be a couple reasons. One he wasn’t really serious about you, he was just there for the sex. Or it could be that he was serious about you but over time while he was w you he was already distancing himself from you. So when he did leave there was nothing really there on his part emotionally. It could also be that he is t over you, it could just be a coping mechanism as far as being w another girl. Maybe he’s just w her for the sex. Maybe he doesn’t like being alone so he gravitated toward the neck chick who would have him.

I would say it depends on how long you were together. It's possible he wanted a distraction so he wouldn't have to deal with his feelings about ending it with you.
