For example while eating and they want to talk or when they laugh they do it too...
I noticed a lot of girls does that while men doesn't do it at all 😄

I’m sure everyone has a reason for putting their hand in front of their mouth & I’m sure women do too. As for me I have notice that some women cover their mouth to cover up fucked up, yellow or missing teeth especially when you make them laugh.
😂😂
I sure wish I had covered my mouth while eating a whole cherry tomatoe. It bursts open and the seeds flew out of my mouth all the way across the dinner table. Everyone saw them and kept looking at those flying seeds until they landed somewhere on the table.
This dinner was a very special dinner. I had a big crush on this guy and his Mom invited me over to dinner. So, I guess they weren't very impressed with me.
Then I got so stressed out, I ended up with a stomach ache and couldn't even eat.
A horrible experience for a 16 year old girl!
🤣🤣
When they want to hold in a gasp, burp, or their bad breath.
Many had mentioned that it's about manners
It used to be widely considered rude to show the inside of your mouth. It only seems like men don’t do that as much because ungentlemanly men have been socially acceptable for longer than unladylike women. It’s a learned behavior based in etiquette. Unladylike women are very popular now. Like all other etiquette behaviors, that one will be gone soon enough.
Everyone shouldn't open their mouth while eating!

Most women are taught manners as small children.
Covering the mouth while it’s open and facing someone else is pretty basic training.
So it's about manners 😁
Cause it used to be socially rude for women to laugh freely or loudly. We are still having the hangover of that
Well isen't it socially rude till this day if she does these!
As far as I am concerned, if my wife needs to laugh, I don't want her hand in front of her mouth, I want her to just let it happen, and "let it all hang out" as much as she needs to! I just love it!
@Keyboardkat i agree
i was taught speaking with a mouth full of food wasn't good in general, so i guess it can be seen as a way to get around the "impoliteness" of it.
True!
I only do that if I spit when I talk 😂 or if someone makes me laugh while I’m drinking something so it don’t spew out at them🤣
You're a senior lady sponge, you don't have to do such things anymore, you can burp out loud and say "HELL YEAH!" 🤣🤣
You calling me old young whipper snapper👀🤣
A spongy forehead with old bones and i'm the youngster who will bite her naughty spongy forehead 💆🏼♀️😬
@Red_Arrow ok grandpa, she ain't interested anyways 😏
@LaFemmeFatale_1 who in the hell invited you to comment on my question? Haven't you blocked me from a long time ago? 🤔 or you just couldn't resist that i didn't care at all 🤣🤣
Anyways between me and my older sister, it's none of your business how we joke with each other, go back to your famour singer he's waiting for you cause he wants his stick to be sucked, come on hurry up, don't waste your time here with us the normal people, you're a celeb 😂😂
Everybody but me on this thread needs to lighten up/take a chill pill/behave…
It could be insecurity, they were taught to, or to avoid spitting on people.
Spitting 🤣🤣
Good mannerism and I think it’s kind of a habit for me too lol
I guess so
It's better manners, so you ou don't show all the food in your mouth while you're eating.
Okay but why also when they laugh?
I guess because it's also considered bad manners to show the inside of your mouth and maybe because subconsciously they think ladies shouldn't be too loud so they want to seem quieter.
You're a girl, have you done it before? 😄
I have done both, usually if I'm in company with people I don't know or aren't fully comfortable with.
🙂👍🏻
To hide food in/around their mouths while eating, hide teeth/mouth when laughing. So they’re feeling uncomfortable and insecure and want to look more elegant while eating or laughing.
A logical answer, but i mean it's too much, it shows that she ain't comfortable around the people whom she's surrounded with...
Only some women do that. So where along the line they thought it was cute and it became a habit.
Yep because it makes the others thinks that there is something wrong in her mouth 🤣🤣
good manners, being polite
or just a habit
I believe so
It's so common to see that I never thought about it. I can understand if they have food in their mouth.
Even when they laugh...
It used to be etiquette. Now it's just learned as feminine. I've never done this. Take small bites and close the mouth.
She got Halitosis and is trying to hide it when she laughs. 😆
🤣🤣
I guess to look graceful while we laugh like hyenas.
😂😂
I thought only Chinese chicks do that when they laugh. maybe the chicks you know don’t have any teeth. I’m just saying.
They do have teeth 😄
I don’t do any of those things
Good miss lauren 😄
Thanks ☺️
😊😊
they know better...
It's considered good manners
I think so hehe
Cuz they have bad breath 😋
Might be one of the reasons
So we dont make it rain lmao
