Some ex classmates are stalking my social medias after 4 years of no contact?

today i’ve been sent 4 follow requests from these people (i’ve never seen them since 2019-2020), and i still don’t know how they managed to find out about my social media, specially tiktok and twitter (the accounts are not linked to my phone number or anything). they sent me friend requests on instagram and facebook, and followed my tiktok, all at once on the same day. these people were some of my bullies (kind of) they didn’t bully me but always never wanted to talk to me or be near me bc i was “the weird one” etc. what i don’t understand is why would they do all this? all of a sudden follow me on social media? i’ve blocked them, and they make fake accounts to stalk my tiktok or send me friend requests.

is this normal?

That's super freaking weird and creepy that they're all suddenly stalking you like that after so long! I can think of a few possibilities:

1. They were bullies back then and might still be trying to mess with you or find ways to be mean. Some people just never grow up.

2. Maybe they were secretly into you then and now they're trying to slide into your DMs now that they're older. So sketch though, ew.

3. Possibly they were just bored and decided to snoop on old classmate's socials. But whyfollow/friend request then? Probably not innocent.

4. Could be one of them had a vendetta and showed the others your accounts to get the crew back together to harass you again.

In any case, good job blocking! I wouldn't engage at all if they try making new accounts. Just keep deleting and blocking so they can't see your stuff or message you. Maybe even set your accounts to private for a while. Don't let those creeps stress you out, girl!
