Anyone find it really annoying some people treat adult women as kids?

I see people call 18 or 20 year olds little girls and it's really annoying in my opinion. This is how woman are weak and grow up sheltered. I think it's sad.

Yes, when you infantilize young adults you only promote pedophilia. As you create a cadre of kids that you can legally have sex with in the mindset of people. So if it is okay to have sex with an 18 year old "kid"; what is to stop you from having sex with an actual kid at 16 or 17? You get people who are like "well it isn't technically legal, but at least it isn't with someone who is 13-15." So once that thought becomes normalized in their minds; they soon start adding 15 and 14; "because it is just a year or two, like 16 and 17 were." Now legally neither of these thoughts are valid; but almost nobody thinks about their actions in a legalistic sense.

Women like being treated as children when it benefits them, such as when it comes to responsibilities and accountability. They pretend they are incapable children and need alimony because an able bodied woman of 30 + years is incapable of taking care of herself. They also want lesser jail sentences or no jail time for the same crimes that get men many years in prison.

I call them kids too. 18 and 19 are not adults they’re still teenagers. When I was 18 I was still in high school so no I don’t consider that an adult just because they legally are.

I don’t have to get over it because I know I’m right. You just probably want them to be adults so they feel old meanwhile no they’re just kids. When I was 18 I knew as much as I did when I was 17. If these are really adults the drinking age wouldn’t be 21.
The only reason 18 is adult age is because of the transition to college. Being an adult doesn’t start the minute you turn 18. Wtf kind of mindset is that

18 and 19 are teens. Some still in high school and don’t know much. You don’t agree, get over it because most people call 18 and 19 kids. If you consider them adult, that’s on you, but most people still think they’re kids. Just like they think you’re old.

They are not. I teach at University. These people work, have children on their own. And all professors refer to them Sir/Madam. Not long ago it was compulsory for men at 18 in Europe to be 2 years in military if they did not study in university.

Nobody is rushing anybody. 18 is not childhood. People are mature by that time in normal countries. At age of 18 I was called before millitar commision. At 22 I wrote first research papers under guadiance of my engineering degree promoter and represented university abroad and signed project agreement with Ministry of Finances. Self learned ancient Ancient latin and later piano as a hobby. And I am considered very childish in my country by many people. At 26 I started phd and work for faculty of cybernetics and had to conduct classes with students. Who would considered babysitting me then? Good heavens! What you present is sick! Sick! Nobody wants to be child like at that age. This is some aberration. Wakeup!

My best friend at about 24 years married successfully and together with his wife took a bank loan and bought a flat. Nobody bought of babysitting him... Traditionally people at 18 celebrate a ball studniowka 100 days before matura (a maturity exam that closes compulsory educations) to finish their childhood.

To call someone you do not know "child", address them by first name or "you" instead of formal sir/madam is usually considered a slap in the face to them.

I don't know. Because I consider anyone under 30 to be a kid. I get it, they're adults but they're newly adults.😆 I don't think I give anyone over 18 a pass though. I'm just realistic about what I can expect from them.

@Morgan_L in my country 18 is considered adult and can serve in military. In fact about 20 years ago, all men of 18 years had to visit military commission and be a soldier for 2 years if they did not attend university.
