There's this girl in school that we're being close than before... I had interest in her, so i made it known to her buh she asked if I'm serious or joking about it... I told her I'm serious and she never said yes or no buh rather keeps saying I'm joking (maybe it's because of the way I asked her out (jokingly).

Buh she's now fond of sitting closer to me in classes, pays for the little things I ask her to pay, always wanting to let me know when she's leaving school, texts me first etc

My problem now is, has she accepted the "joking relationship" without telling me it's a yes or she's just going with the flow of things.

Cuz a "yes I feel the same way" or "no I'm not interested" would help in clarifying things to me.

Please I need your opinion it will help me a lot. 🙏🏽

Hmm, seems like a tricky situation man. A few things could be going on:

- She might like the attention you give her and enjoying flirting close as friends, but isn't ready for a relationship. Girls do that sometimes.

- By saying it was a joke, she's leaving it open without fully committing yet. That way if things don't work out she has an "out".

- Or she could actually feel the same but is shy or worried to say it directly 'cause she likes you and doesn't wanna mess things up.

My advice would be, keep doing what you're doing as far as being close to her. But also give her some space sometimes so she misses you. Then, try asking again more seriously like "I was thinkin, would you ever wanna go out sometime?"

If she says "as friends" then you know she just wants to be closer buddies and nothing more. But if she gets shy and kinda avoids the question again, she probably does like you back.

Either way, seems worth trying again for a clear answer so you're not left wondering. Keep it cool if she says no, but keep giving her hints how much you care when you're together. She'll come around eventually! Just be patient man.
