A lot of that depends on what the situation is between the two of you and a lot to do with the girl. I would say that if you are just starting to date the girl will more than likely wait until you initiate plans. That is not always going to be the case however. Some girls are going to be proactive. That is why I say it depends on the girl and situation. If she is super into you and has that proactive mindset then she is likely not to waste any time. Don't take this to mean that she isn't into you if she doesn't. She just may be the type that is going to follow your lead. It also may mean that she is unsure of how you feel about her. Again it really depends on the situation and the person and no one answer can tell you what is right or wrong.
