Let me ask you this. Are you truly shy, or maybe you have some heavy Social Anxiety? Sometimes people don't understand Social Anxiety and can assume that someone is just stuck up. I think it would not hurt to get assessed by a psychologist who can probably help you with that.

I guess my question would be, what’s the point in having this consideration? Have you ever considered that we aren’t mind readers and have no idea that you’re interested but too shy and scared to make a move? I think for a woman to make that deduction, she’d have to already notice he’s interested, which to me, already takes a good deal of confidence on his behalf, so why can he do that but not just approach?

We only think about the guys who approach us and whether we are interested in them or not. Why would anyone think about someone who doesn't approach them? That would be like thinking about a grocery store you don't go to or a car you don't drive or a restaurant you've never heard of.
