i need more details- how well do you guys know each other? do you like her? did you do something to make her act that way?

because I liked this guy in college for years and had a huge crush on him we were friends and he kept playing mind games with me using me for attention he just couldn't figure out if he liked me or not sometimes he did other times he didnt, and I just woke up one day and decided to move on and I saw him in school still but I was indifferent my feelings for him were buried inside I just didn't want to face him anymore because I felt insecure and rejected I didn't want the pain to come back

when you play games with someone you lose their trust in you, and they will always be shaky around you and afraid of your unpredictable behavior. games can really mess someone up, shatter their esteem and play with their emotions.

Well I was friends with her when we were little then when we were teenagers it seemed like she wanted to be more than friends. But then she sent a message saying she wanted to hang-out like we used to. But I didn't want to hang-out with her,I wanted to date her. In her message she didn't hint at wanting to be more than friends. So I didn't reply to her message and she no longer tried contacting me. Despite that I did go to her sweet-sixteen and I went to her grandma's funeral.

well what do you expect then? you didn't reply. there's your answer. its rude and unprofessional not to reply to someone no matter what the topic is, she asked you to hang out, did you know that that can connotate as a date as well? or a pre-date? she wants to spend time with you how can you just ignore that message without a reply? by not replying she felt rejected and took it as you're not interested. and was hurt and probably cried for hours and now she's indifferent.

that I've been going-out with for a year and a half but we can hang-out if you want." Then I gave her the silent treatment and then she gave me her cell # and said "Everything is going to be ok" and then she hugged me and I hugged back and then I left.

Lolz sorry I'm not sure if you were just looking for male answers but I thought I'd pop in a comment either way. When woman act indifferent around a guy it's usually because they like him but they don't want him to know it, or appear too desprete. The best thing to do is really keep trying and sooner or later maybe the girl won't act like that any more. It's not a sure sign of her not liking the person, because if that were the case then he'd probably just be ignored, or if she wanted to be friends treated the same as everyone else. That slightly different approach is how you can be sure of her interest.

Do you like her or this just a colleague? Maybe you provoked this behavior. if you like her try and get to know her, get her wall to come down, and if your intentions are good then maybe it will work.

it really depends, some women like to play the "bitch shield" with a guy they may like or not, when that happens, it is better to just do the same thing for a while, until she starts to miss you. Then you can approach her again. Or you can ask is everything ok? Although that is going to make you sort of desperate, so just pretend nothing happened...It may also mean, that she wants nothing to do with you, so forget her...Thetruth is, is that impossible to tell one from the other.

Acting indifferent in return has had the best effect. If they act that way to get my attention it works like a charm and they start trying to get mine. If they are genuinely indifferent they don't care.
