What does it mean when a girl asks if you have a Facebook?

So I flirted with the one girl and got her number. After I asked her out, she was busy so she said she would call me back. I was thinking she was just gonna delete my number but she texts back apologizing for not answering then and then asked me to add her on Facebook. I have date with her this weekend.

Then this other girl who is in a couple of my classes almost asked for my number beause she said "yea I'll be txting you questions all the time for this class" (she didn't have my number yet...) So I give her my number. She has started 3 or 4 texting convos in the past couple of days and this last one she asked if I have a Facebook.

So when a girl asks for your Facebook, is it generally a hint that she likes the guy?

I don't really like the second girl there, but I'm just curious if she likes me so I know not to flirt a ton.

If she asks for you number it means she likes you enough to want to keep in contact with you and see what type of chemistry you have. It could be just to be friends, or it could be in hopes to be more. The certainty is that she wants to keep in contact with you.

For me, when I ask for someone's Facebook is because I want to be friends with them and stay in contact. I feel like if I have them on FB---even though we may not talk a lot---I will always be connected to their life because of the live feed, and I can creep on them, lol.

Of course. Just talk casually about some stuff this way the date doesn't feel awkward because you were texting all week.

It really doesn't mean that she likes you , but she could if she gets flirty with your texting or calling. I usually ask all my new friends or new people I talk to if they have a Facebook just because its an easy way to get in touch and stay in touch even if you two don't talk that much.

(2) A "working relationship" is one that is initiated and focuses on work. This includes classwork, study groups, etc.

It's a difference of interpretation. Don't get all snarky here..."working relationship" to me implies we are at WORK. And social life is completely separated from working life, so connect the dots.

Come on, folks. Is FB really that important? Hey, people out there havve 100+ so-called "friends" on FB, so one more or less doesn't really matter after all. If a girls asks you for your FB, it doesn't mean anything except for that she is not avoiding you.

She texted me asking what I was trying to say the other day and I said can I give you a call in 40 min? She didn't reply so I called anyway just thinking she was waiting for the call but she texted me back right away apologizing because she was at dinner. I told her to let me know when she was done or call me after and she did call. That's when we set up the date. We haven't known each other for long at all so she easily could have been nervous about calling at first. still wouldn't try it out?

100% text/call...100% don't just say hi! this is another human being who you're building a connection with. it doesn't have to be so mechanical and you can relax buddy. it's all gonna turn out fine provided that you leave the pressure off yourself. give her a call or text asking how her day was. maybe tell her about the highlift of your day?
