What does it mean when a girl asks if she is annoying you? I have a situation right now where I went on a date with a girl from college and hung out in a group a few times after that but I'm not sure what her deal is. I basically told her that I liked her but after our date she said she wanted to hang out as friends and see what happens from there. But when I asked her if she wanted to hang out in a one-on-one setting she said she'd rather hang out in a group setting because she feels too much pressure. So when we went and hung out the next time in a group setting, I was a bit quiet and kind of ignored her and she texted me asking me if she was annoying me. After that day, she texted me a couple more times asking if she annoys me. What is she trying to say and is she interested?

It means she counts your judgement more than others. Your basically the 12 jurors in the court room and you decide her fate in your image. She likes you.

I'm not sure why she is adamant about not hanging out in a one-on-one setting. She'd rather hang out with me in a group. Maybe she feels like I'm expecting to much out of her so early on? If she was really interested, wouldn't she want to hang out in a one-on-one setting? Also FYI this girl has never been in a relationship before and she is 24 years old. She is definitely not socially shy and is quite attractive but just never had a BF. Thoughts would be appreciated.

Nope, she is not expecting too much out of you. Some of my clients prefer social groups for pouring out their feelings then one on one which they consider to be an insult to their constructive lives. Psychologist tend to do that out of necessity for their clients. If she has not been in a relationship, it typically means she has big choices in deciding who to trust (looks like she found her trust). Social people train themselves to handle multiple groups so they can handle one person ("the one")
