Are creepy guys EVER hot guys?

I have a theory, that what girls say are CREEPY guys, are confident guys that they just don't think are hot.

Like a guy that is forward, or poetic or sweet...or charming...is a great guy who is not HOT ENOUGH for a girl. So that cute poem or nice gesture...is looked at awkwardly. Guys learn the sweet things to do from movies. Movies you ladies LOVE.

All the things that I have ever heard a girl describe as creepy are things that would be romantic from a hot guy.

Thoughts?

p.s. This theory assumes the guy is not 20+ years older then you, and also assumes that we realize that things that are downright scary are not creepy.

So, basically answer the main question, have you ever met a creepy guy..who was also HOT?

Ok, after chatting with some of these wonderful and helpful women on this site, I have come up with a likely conclusion.

So a "creepy" guy is a guy who gives continuous unwanted solicitations. He is persistent even after being told "no." It is usually not a friend of the girl.

And apparently a hot guy can be a creep because they can, as well continuously hit on a girl. Hot guys are usually not considered creeps because most solicitations from them are welcome.

I don't want to be completely terrible, but girls seem to go for hot guys no matter what. They ignore all intuition when they see a pretty face and hot body. Now yes, this only applies for around 80% of women probably...


So, to now be completely terrible, this guy gets the date, not the normal cool guy who is "creepy"

I know one :p He's this south african jewish guy at my university, also studying law, who is in the fraternity I used to be very close to :P He got rushed in before the fraternity heard about his attempted escapades with unwilling women on campus lol.

He wasn't scary just... at first, its not too obvious because he's pretty cute and a bit charismatic. But then he slips you a drink claiming its a light shot, then another, then another :P regardless of whether you accept the drinks or not (it is just alcohol, but he basically gives you a more legal version of moonshine lol) he will proceed to make really obvious moves on you even after you've distanced yourself or stopped talking to him all together.

He follows you around for the entire party. Because I had a boyfriend and could tell he was trying to pull a move on me, I mentioned him at least ten times in one minute and then stopped talking to him and he still tried to make moves on me.

oh, and did I mention all of his attempts are premeditated? from what my friends and I gathered (based on our encounters with him lol) he: 1) finds out what party you're going to, 2) Facebook stalks you and comments on everything and sends you message about the party, 3) waits at the door of the party until you get there.

And you don't even need to respond to his initial communications via Facebook, he'll follow you around anyways.

The thing is, this likely works on multiple women. He does it, and does it with full force because it likely gets women in bed with him.

There are you're not interested in and there are creeps. All unwanted guys aren't creeps but some are. If you keep trying after someone is not interesting, it's not cute no matter what you look like. Hot guys don't get every girl 100% of the time, there is always going to be a girl that won't like him either. But if that same guy continuously solicits her and its unwanted and she has told him no repeatedly, that is being creepy and its unwelcome. That's how sexual harassment suits get started.

Please don't go around thinking that good looking guys get to do what they want all the time. they may be less likely to be rejected in the first place, but when they are they can't harass ppl. its creepy.

Also the thing about chick flicks, is that they are fictional story lines. That doesn't mean every guy out there who does some Notebook sh*t will have the same results. If the girl doesn't like you then she doesn't like you. if nothing is being reciprocated and the girl is trying to avoid you, let it go.

Ehhhhh, you've kind of got it right. I was a cashier a a truck stop, so trust me I know creepy men. Being creepy, in my opinion, has nothing to do with looks. I've met some really attractive guys that were TOTAL creeps. It's all about how you approach a woman and how you act. You don't have to be ugly to be sketchy. If you walk up to a girl and your breathing weird, looking around, hunched over, or giving her LOADS of compliments and she has a weird look on her face, you're probably creepy regardless of whether you're handsome.

I am not trying to find anyone. I was just wondering this earlier today. So many girls will call a guy creepy after he does something sweet. But it is NEVER a hot guy. If a hot guy did the EXACT same thing, the girl would likely melt into his arms.

So the creep is a non hot/normal guy, and gives unwelcomed advances to either normal or retarded girls.

YES, I knew a really hot guy, that turned out to be creepy. He came to my apartment for the first time and in less then a minute his pants were off, with no underwear on! and started kissing me. I laughed and told him to sit and calm down. I sat on my couch in a hoodie until he left. Then a week later after me not saying anything to him, he told me he was sorry he just never felt so strongly toward someone so soon. Didn't fall for that one. He started inviting me to really nice hotels, I never went. He was about 12 years older then me. So good looking, had style, money, so smart, and a cool guy when he was normally conversating with u, which only lasted a short time. He even did the creep voice at times. But what made him creepy for sure and even a little scary was that he would gamble a lot, and when he lost he would get VERY mad, and swear at the other players, I honestly think he waited for a few in the parking lot and jumped them.

He tried to be really sweet at first too, like took myefor a walk with a couple drinks and showed me where a nice view of the city was, and we stood there talking and held me...and then he would say something like "your ass looks so good" and then start rubbing me! lol not the most comfortable situation on the first time hanging out.

I play at the same casino sometimes. I "heard" he did this from other dealers who delt with him, but didn't witness it myself. He was always really nice to me, and yea for the most part I talked to him because he was good looking lol I didn't know the creepy part though, as he was always alone and didn't seem like he really dated much, He probably slept with near 100+ girls I think I turned out to be some kind of mission for him. That's how it got weird, and I totally stopped talking to him.

It sounds like you just met a player, who had to push harder to try and win you over. But, I bet none of those 100+ women you assume he was with thought he was creepy. I bet they used adjectives like "gorgeous" or "sexy"

No, creepy guys are guys who are creepy. In my case, men old enough to be my father or people who can't take a hint/stalk. THATS CREEPY. Otherwise if a guy is ugly he's just an ugly guy we aren't interested in, we don't think about him, we only notice the creepers as they're creepy and make us uncomfortable.

They follow you around and don't seem to have self control. It's actually quite scary, because you are clearly not interested but they don't quit its harassment in many ways. That's why they're creepy. Usually its not on encounter that makes a guy creepy unless he said/acted in a manner which made us uncomfortable ie: too forward, weird look/sexual comments etc

Great explanation of the creepy thing. Usually girls cannot describe what creepy behavior is. It sounds like you are saying stalker behavior.

Now, what is interesting, is that back in the day, like 50 years ago...those actions, following around...pushing themselves into conversation with a girl is EXACTLY what got guys married to the girl.

The problem is that this sounds like persistent. People, girls and guys advice guys to be persistent all the time.

Persistence wins only if you have something back (ie: show of interest from the person) But if a girl clearly ignores your presence or runs away from you, its no longer persistence but harassment and I think some men/guys confuse the two. Unwanted attention is creepy, period. Guys sometimes misread signals or assume a girl is interested because she's nice/friendly/single. If you have no pride or sense of "no means no" then you are the "creepy" guy. But like back in the day, you mentioned...

Well I do believe it has to do with the way they say something though. For instance; today I was looking at apartments. The man showing me these apartments was undoubtedly HOT, when I liked the amenities of a particular apartment he mentioned his would be right across from that one and that "I could look down from my apartment right into your bedroom. I might need to buy some binoculars." At the time I was laughing and blushing. Hell I was flattered this hot guy was flirting with me, but as I thought about it more and more, it was still creepy. Of course if it wasn't him, I probably would never ever get that apartment. But the lake view is so nice. I'm just going to get black out curtains.
