How do you tell a guy he's awesome without being weird?

Alright, this guy I know. I've sorta had a thing for him ever since we first met. And I'm usually super awkward/shy around people I think are really great. And he is. Idk. Would it be weird to just be like "hey, you're great, and I kinda have a thing for you". Idk. How do you tell a guy he's insanely awesome/great/amazing/wonderful without being weird?

I guess you could wait for a time when you two are alone and you could tell him that you have feelings for him.
One time I was with a guy I really like and I can't remember what he said/did, but I said "you amaze me" without thinking about it and he seemed pretty happy about it.

Yeah, if you say it out of no where it can quickly become an awkward moment.

Just talk to him like you normally would then say,

"You're a great person.I like you a lot."

Yea, that's the problem though. Like I CAN'T talk to people I think are really great. Like things here and there or if it's a big group of people. But I'm way too awkward and shy to just go up and start a conversation. Everything gets all jumbled in my head and I have no idea what to say or how to act.

Stop applying so much pressure on it. The more you think about it, the more you will become tensed up. Just breathe, inhale, exhale and try to be yourself.

I like this, because using person, doesn't apply intrest for sure, it could just be that... as a person, so you can still keep the friendship, yes go with this advice

Just say, "Ya know, you're a really great guy. And I like you. Alot." And don't be too down if it doesn't go anywhere. If it doesn't, always remember that you're only seeing and hearing half of it.

It means that he may seem appealing, but there could be another side to him, things you don't know, that might not be so great. And I'm only saying this if things don't work out between you two. Maybe they will.

I know how difficult it can be to deal with people you like when you're shy. I used to be really shy when I was younger. I've gotten a lot better though.

just say it straightly. You know in most guys' mind girls are complicated, any detour may make him confused. So just speak out and let him know your feeling.

I would tell him he is great but don't do it in a random way. Have a conversation with him and mention that he is great when you find a good spot to say it
