How to change your G@G messaging preferences to allow private opinions on your questions, or direct messages from people that you're not following.

This is helpful information to new(er) users - especially Levels One and Two.

Go to your profile and look for "Settings" on the left hand side.

Follow the arrows in the image below.

- Un-Click the box that says "Allow messages from only people I follow"

- Click "SAVE"

This changes the DEFAULT privacy settings on G@G, that are they to protect new users from getting their inbox bombed by pervs, creeps, and spammers.

This will allow for "PRIVATE" opinions to your questions, if you want.

More importantly, it will allow a higher level user to message you if they want, when you send a follow request and they'd like more information from you before approving it.

You can check and un-check boxes in your privacy setting as often as you like.

Even if they set their account to private, an experienced hacker can still be able to message them and find a way to get their email and password. It'll just be harder.

As far as the football team, the happy ending is that we were able to quickly fire the coach AND the athletic director.

The new AD (an alum and past head coach) quickly hired a new head coach (a Saban assistant) from Alabama. So we should get back on track quickly

Overtimes is stupid too. I hate the good 'ol real football games when Notre Dame and Oklahoma may battle to a 10-10 tie. Real football allows ties. A 17-17 game can turn into a 51-49 final because of 6 or 7 overtimes.

If it is 17-17 after 60 minutes, shake your opponent's hands and accept the 1/2 win. I can gladly shake my opponents' hands knowing that neither of us was the better team. No shame in a tie. All a tie is is 1/2 win and 1/2 loss. Overtime is only necessary in playoff games.
