I highly disagree that girls in general like shy guys. The majority of what I hear is being social, being confident, la la la... usually even when girls do their "subtle hints" business with shy guys they'll move on eventually thinking that they're being rejected even though, shy guys are just that, they're shy. They won't make a move and will require extra work from your side which is too much work for a lot of girls these days so yeah, that's my 2 cents.
From my experience, girls do not like a shy dude. They prefer loud, outgoing douches. That's why I have been working to bring out my inner douche.
ROFL! 90% of women do not like shy guys. I know this because I am one and I have never, ever been considered desirable by any girl I have met.

i think that you are full of shit. most women hate us with passion. not only we are timid and boring, but above all make them feel alienated and maybe even hated. shyness is taken for distaste towards them.

Shy and introversion are not the same thing. One can be shy and extroverted. Introversion and extroversion are brain chemistries
